Surveys & Remedial Works
Know the exact condition of your building's fire protection
A passive fire protection survey establishes whether the fire-resisting elements of your building are performing as intended, and precisely where they are not. We identify breaches, defective fire doors and failed fire stopping, record them against compartmentation drawings, and quantify the works required so they can be scheduled and costed.
From single buildings to whole portfolios, our surveys give you a clear, quantifiable picture of your building’s passive fire protection, and a practical route to putting any defects right.
What we assess
- Compartment walls and floors, and the junctions between them
- Service penetrations where pipes, cables and ducts pass through fire-resisting elements
- Fire doors: condition, gaps, seals and closing performance
- Ceiling voids, risers and concealed spaces
- Cavity barriers and linear gap seals
Reporting & remediation
Every finding is recorded in One Trace with a photograph, precise location and severity rating, giving you a clear, quantifiable schedule of works. Our FIRAS-accredited installers can then carry out the remedial works using tested and approved systems, with completion certified and documented, closing the loop from survey to compliance.
